Privacy policy

Kelime Pasaportu (“the app”, “we”) is a puzzle game that teaches English words. The data controller is Burak Ünsal, the independent developer of the app (contact: destek@kelimepasaportu.com). This policy explains what data we process, why, and your rights. It is written under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
Account: the username you choose and your account’s technical id. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the account id and email address they share with us (with Apple this may be a hidden relay address).
Game save: your level progress, stars, coin balance, XP, streaks, the words in your passport and your app settings.
Purchases: the pack you bought, the transaction id and time. Your payment details never reach us; Apple’s App Store or Google Play handles payment.
Ads: players without the full version see ads between puzzles, and anyone can watch a rewarded video for coins. When an ad is shown, our ad provider Google AdMob may process data such as your device’s advertising id, IP address and ad interactions under its own policy.
How we use it
To run the game, save your progress to the cloud and restore it on a new phone; to credit coins you buy; to let you earn coins by watching ads; and to answer support requests.
We do not sell your data or build advertising profiles.
What stays on your phone
Daily reminder notifications are scheduled on your phone; no notification token is sent to us.
Word pronunciation uses your phone’s own speech engine; nothing is sent anywhere.
Service providers
Supabase: stores accounts and game saves (servers in Europe, Zurich, Switzerland).
Apple and Google: sign-in and in-app purchases.
RevenueCat: verifies purchase records.
Google AdMob: ads between puzzles and rewarded ads.
They process data only to provide their service and under their own privacy policies. Some may process data outside Turkey or the EU.
Ad choices
In the EU and UK a consent form is shown for ads; you can change your choice under Profile → Privacy & legal → Ad privacy choices.
On iPhone you are also asked for tracking permission. Saying no doesn’t stop the game or earning coins from ads.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Profile → Account → Delete account permanently deletes your account and your whole cloud save.
Apple, Google and RevenueCat may keep purchase records separately where the law requires.
Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 and the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority.

Children
The app is for users aged 13 and over. If you believe we hold data about a child under 13, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; we will announce important changes in the app.
